It would seem so. It was reported this morning that Kavanaugh over his career, has undergone six FBI Background Imvestogations and cleared for the highest security clearance. How many confirmation processes has he already gone through? It’s been stated this allegation has been known since June. Why now? As with Clarence Thomas, another high tech lynching.

100% correct. The FBI has been asked to investigate and they stated there is nothing to investigate. This is supposedly a repressed memory. Very few details as to date, time, and place. So if she says may 18th 1982. He says I was in Montana with my family then she suddenly “ remembers it was June 3rd. Well the parents were house at the house she thinks it happened at. Oh, it was another house and on and on we go. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/open-gently/201504/we-dont-repress-painful-childhood-memories

Sadly, one must wonder if this woman is a paid operative. This make-believe "sexual assault" wasn't reported to law enforcement when it allegedly occurred. As a retired cop, I can say, "if it's not reported, it didn't happen." Now that Kavanaugh is about to be confirmed, a "secret letter" which had been in the possession of Senator Feinstein for months is made public. Clearly, this is another whack-a-doodle, left-wing lark. Look what they did to Bork! Look what they did to Thomas. Have they no decency?

Facts:
1) this was over 30 years ago with shaky evidence to support (her therapist contradicts who did it, but we are supposed to believe that her therapist is lying)
2) this "evidence" was known for over 2 months. Why wait until after the hearings to bring it out, other than to gum up the works.
3) the complainants parents and a judgment against them in a court presided over by Kavanaugh's mother...
4) he has been investigated out the wazoo by the FBI over 6 times, the backgrounder for Supreme Court is probably more intense, and they never deemed it a legitimate issue.
5) Durbin doesn't want a quick hearing on this this week, they need "time" to look into it. Time=play out the clock in the hope they retake the majority in the mid terms and can shoot it all down.
6) Feinstein. Enough said.
But, facts, we don't need no stinking facts....

Also, we should consider WHY Kavanaughs record wasn't available for review prior to the hearings. Perhaps if he had been transparent, this wouldn't be an issue now.
(It probably would have been because both parties are just throwing temper tantrums ad naseum.)

LTC David Brown - An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth leaves the whole world blind and sucking down their meal through a straw (unless they live in California). [that one was a salute to you CPT Jack Durish Whether we realize it or not, we are in an untenable situation. This well may be the beginning of the end of the United States, not today, not tomorrow; but I would not bet the farm that the union will be recognizable 200-300 years from now.
Our politicians are so wrapped up in winning that they are guilty of neglecting the business of the nation.

Maj John Bell - 200-300 years? You're being generous. The union isn't recognizable from how it started - and that was less than 300 years ago. In another 200-300 years, the US will probably not exist.
