SGT John " Mac " McConnell, The Carpenters performed at the Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum on the Auburn University (AL) campus on November 16, 1971. Tickets were $3/$4/$5. I was there! I went down in front of the stage and took all the shots I wanted. Many of us did it, and no one seemed to care.
