HUG YOUR CAT DAY SHARE OF THE DAY

Hug Your Cat Day is to be celebrated by cat owners everywhere by hugging their cats. It’s not recommended to hug your neighbor’s cat—cats are known to be a bit finicky with humans. Most cat owners would agree that hugging their own cat can be risky.

Many cats will tolerate hugs for a short while. But others will cuddle for a long time. All cats have different temperaments.

Did you know there are cats that like to be hugged? According to pedmd.com, Burmese, Ragdoll, and LaPerm cats are affectionate breeds.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL Our outdoor stray has been with us for over four years now and still won't let us pick her up. If she's if a really great mood we might get to scratch her head every now and then. We just continue to kill her with kindness. Maybe one day she'll come around!
