Interesting to be sure. I wonder if her family agreed with her being cremated? The press release does mention that her husband was notified (of her death, or cremation and was she cremated before or after that?).
It's very odd the police officer hasn't been identified. Initially, many PD's do that but eventually, officers involved in shootings are identified. Strange that the Capitol PD officer has not been. While I understand it would expose him to likely intense media coverage, it's still odd at this late date.

I agree with not naming him. This is the only shooting I've heard of where they don't name the officer. Why do they only care about this one and not all the other police shootings where the officers are named almost immediately?
