An excellent piece of journalism IMHO Lt Col Charlie Brown! The Truth cannot be hidden from the American People! It's happening before our eyes...

Dishonest.

Just like the left likes to do with COVID economic data, using the artificially suppressed 2020 data to make Trump look worse, and also using it to show significant Buden gains that eere little more than recovery (and often not even that).... Here we have the right trying to use artificially suppressed 2020 COVID numbers for comparison.

There was a spike in illegal immigration in 2019, where there were well over 800K encounters. But the article uses 2020 and just over 400K. But 2020 is artificially reduced by COVID. Had the 2019 increase trend continued on pace through 2020, we would likely be close to where we are right now.

No, that does not mean Biden and his administration have no blame. Policy matters. And at the end of 2019 / beginning of 2020 Trump *did* implement policy to curb illegal immigration. So not ALL of that reduction was COVID. Plus Biden eliminate some policies which directly correlated to increases. Biden own a good share of the blame.

But using 2020 for conparison is dishonest. And ignoring the pre-COVID trends is also dishonest.
