In order for it to be a sport, doesn't the target at least have to be moving? This is SO WRONG at least give the animal a chance to run since they are defenseless.

Well this really pissed off the bear. He was just chilling out, having a PBR and watching Yogi Bear Cartoons when he saw this on his Android Tablet. He is incensed!

For some time, I have felt there is little "sport" in hunting large game with today' sporting rifles and scopes. I haven't hunted large game in over 20 years, EXCEPT feral pig. I've harvested close to 50 in the 20+ tears I've been hunting feral pigs. Most of the time the pigs are not that big, 75-150 pounds. But I've taken more than my share of 250+ pound pigs. I have friends who have photos of boars that might have been 500+ pounds.
I enjoy boar hunting immensely; partly because about half the time, especially the big boars, the prey starts hunting you. In my hunts, at least a dozen times, the pig gave up the fight advancing and within a dozen paces; four times it has come down to me and my boar spear to make the kill when a second or third pig came in from the side.
I know this makes me sound "bat$%!#" crazy. But... try it.

Maj John Bell
CSM Charles Hayden - Boar spear from the ground. I wouldn't take a horse into the thick vegetation where I usually have to got to get a feral pig in Northern Michigan
