I wonder what percentage $800m of funds is in terms of ISIS's assets COL Ted Mc
I hope it is significant but I doubt it based on their oil revenue stream and stolen artifacts business ventures.

LTC Stephen F. - Colonel; Another interesting question is "How much of that $800M came from funds that the US government sent to Iraq and then lost track of?"
Alternatively, one could ask "How much of that $800M came from Iraqi funds that the US failed to secure when it invaded Iraq?"

COL Ted Mc - I that all of the $800 million came from the USA unless their were counterfeit bills. I would expect most of the cash came from black market operations such as selling artifacts to people in Russia, Europe, Asia and maybe even this country. Some of the money well have been from our aid to Iraq over time to more likely our aid to the rebels in Syria who may or may not have been on our side.

COL Ted Mc - Interesting method to attrite IS fighters: Give them a pay cut. However, this does unveil a simple truth: Not all these guys were all ideologically motivated.

Capt Mark Strobl - Captain; It's reasonably well documented that the "leaders of Daesh" are as close to being theological illiterates as you can get and still manage to pronounce the words in a "Holy Book" in the same order as they are written.
