Well, as the old saying goes, "The only thing constant in this world is change." originally stated by Heraclitus, a Greek philosopher... That seems to be the "modus operandi" these days..., but the pace of change seems faster than ever before! (or am I just gettin old...LOL!). At any rate, without Diego Garcia, we would not have the ability to provide rapid deployment of assets throughout the region... This could be catastrophic in my view... What say you?

I can boil down this story to only a few words.
Not gonna happen.
Nobody cares what Mauritius thinks.
Whatever harm befell the native population occurred decades ago.
The International court has very little authority, issuing a non-binding ruling. Issues with which entity controls the varied bits of old empires or colonies is notoriously difficult to adjudicate.
So not to worry. DG is securely in US hands.
