Would be nice. The jet engine noise I was around has destroyed my hearing.

SSG Ronald Williams - I wore ear plugs and sound attenuators and yet the high speed turn up are for jet engine testing of the F-4 Phantom caused so much vibration that nothing helped. I have no High Frequency hearing at all. It makes understanding most women’s voices darn near impossible.

What’s your point? Was a thought for a response but the real reply is that’s a shame to not be able to hear a woman’s voice I love to hear my lady’s voice and the sweet sounds of a woman’s voice. No I haven’t started drinking Yet PO1 H Gene Lawrence

Just yesterday I was at SRP and had to go through the hearing booth. The young Captain came in and said everyone passed but as I was leaving I was asked to stay behind. She asked if I was a right handed shooter, and I am. I always wear my ear plugs but the Captain explained that everyone regardless of hearing protection will eventually suffer from hearing loss after so much time in service around fire arms and military equipment. Its only right that veterans should be compensated for damaged hearing knowing that the profession will injure everyone regardless of protective equipment or not.

SPC Michael Oles SR - oh, I hear the voice, but understanding the words have become difficult because their voices are at a higher frequency than most men’s voices.
