I listened to him every day at noon growing up. Did he have a special insight into the future, because he hit the nail square on the head? Or was he just reading human behavior and studying history? Either way, this is today!! PLEASE DON'T JUST LOOK AT IT, LISTEN AS WELL.

Paul Harvey was a student of history. He recognized patterns as well as the consequences of decisions, then applied them to the world as he perceived it. Obviously, he had an uncanny ability to view reality without the distortions of ideological filters that distort perceptions as witnessed the accuracy of his conclusions. He was, in short, one of a dying breed of journalists

I didn't know he studied history, but doesn't surprise me. He was so straight and to the point on everything he said. Something not seen in many journalists today.
