My dad was a medic in the 81 Chemical Mortar Btn in WWII. He wasn't supposed to carry a gun, but he wrangled a Colt .45 and a sachel "grease gun". He wouldn't say if he used them, so he probably did. Although, he did fix GI's and POWs too. They linked up with Patton to cross the Hedgerows, and on to liberate France, Belgium, and take down Germany. In the end they liberated concentration camps. In spite of what current politicos and PC cancel cultures say, it was real and Hitler and his henchmen exterminated millions. We're seeing the beginnings of another Third Reich, or Bolshevik revolution here in the US that started with our universities and now media and other cultural aspects push into government and even into our current military, even on here! It's absolutely astounding that some of our echelons of leadership are not only seeing it happen, but actually promoting it! This is shameful to say the least, and one day there will be a reckoning! That is all.
