Hummingbird Facts And More About The Smallest Bird Species

Lt Col Charlie Brown Hummingbird are really cool birds. I love watching them at the feeders we put out of them. We didn't have many this years as in years past.

It is pretty interesting watching the hummingbirds at our feeders. They also know exactly what person feed them and may hover looking in the window directly at that person if they want something. We keep after the feeder pretty well although at one point a racoon was there and drank all the feed. We didn't fill it a couple days and He didn't come back but the Hummingbirds did.

The hummingbirds are rapidly heading south. As of yesterday there were only two still visiting our feeders and garden. The cold nights are almost upon us!
