As a clinical psychologist I support an internal review called a root cause analysis is pertinent of these sentinel events. I have conducted these at a hospital where I worked. A criminal investigation is beyond the scope of the hospital.

But is it right for the brass to be trying to stop the outside investigations? No matter the scope. Personally I think the only reason they want it stopped is to limit the liability and the amount of money they will have to pay out for current and any future lawsuits!

If there is someone murdering our brother Vets then the FBI needs to open up an investigation.

You are correct but honestly I’m not sure how beneficial it would be with the current leader of the Justice Department and the Administration.
Sorry to say but if it doesn’t offer someone a political boost or advantage, those top two individuals could care less!
Yes, I have become extremely tainted as of late!

What is bothering you? Is it the request for investigation by lawmakers or the VA wanting the AG to stop the investigation according to your post?

SFC Joseph Grim Well as I stated it appears that the VA wants the investigation stopped. And yes that bothers me! If I am wrong on that point of view then no harm no foul! But if I’m right...

No brother, you're not wrong. It's a lot currently going on. It's really confusing.
