I stumbled across this in searching for material on that comp sci (CS) problem I'd been sending stuff in on the past few weeks; this is, honestly, one of the cleverest and certainly one of the most sophisticated data-analysis and signal-processing techniques I've ever seen, the applications for this, from what I've read thus far, are absolutely endless, from rotating-machinery failure modes, to comm systems, to bioengineering, the list almost surpasses belief, honest, for all of you quantitative types out there, I know this is pretty advanced stuff, however, if you've got a serious taste for the sciences, trust me, don't pass up taking a good, hard, long , really serious look at this one, honest....
