Some will remember the 1958 movie, "Dunkirk," starring Sir Richard Attenborough (later acting in "Jurassic Park" and directing "Ghandi") and John Mills (Haley's Dad). Recommended watch.

I haven't seen Dunkirk, but I've seen the others you mentioned. They were absolutely great movies LTC Tom Jones.
