This is what happened in Boulder and that area and many have now closed

I like small breweries, but am not a fan of the trend of over hopped beer.

The way many craft breweries are staying in business is by being bought out by larger companies. Fat Tire Brewing was bought out by a larger company that was bought out itself. In all of that, salaries increased and retirement funds increased. I can see how it happens. Thankfully it hasn’t hurt the quality of Fat Tire Ale.
