I suppose stings-are-us is the Hornet's motto; but, honey-bees only get one shot at stinging :-(
It was interesting that the honey bees were able to swarm on the initial hornet and cook it as they overwhelmed it. Then they attempted to remove its scent mark but then the other 20 giant hornets showed up.
30 vs 30,000 seems similar to Gideon's attack the Midianites. Small numbers of capable warriors can defeat a vastly numerical superior army.
