Sorry, but to me its another comply with the Officer, get things straightened out, and then you're on your way. News agencies need to highlight how often Officers are Assaulted with weapons by Criminals for people to understand why they often take action against someone who is uncooperative.

PO1 Robert Payne - I am not able to see the video on my tablet for some reason, the articles statement from the officer was he was twisting and his hand appeared to reach for his waist band. Again if you were in the officers shoes and knew how often officers were assaulted you may think differently.

If that video is used in court, the deputy is going to be in a lot of hot water.

After watching the video, understanding I am not nor have been a LEO, I still have major questions. 1. The suspect asks a simple question, it is not answered by the deputy. 2. The man explained he is going to work. 3. The officer tries to remove the suspects property, placed him against the hood, and attempts to cuff him. The officer also has already made it know if he didn’t comply he was going to the ground. The suspect turns and is body slammed.
Okay, I don’t see his hand moving to his belt. I think this stop could have been handled in a better way, without the suspect ending up with a cracked skull and broken clavicle. The man is charged with obstruction? I think Paulding County is going to be paying out some money.
It is normally safer to cooperate with the LEO’s directions. The key to me is the suspect is not immediately told why he is being detained.
