That is interesting but not surprising CW5 Jack Cardwell since Ford sees 90 percent of its North America sales portfolio in trucks, utilities and commercial vehicles.
Reducing sedan varieties to allow them to perfect those models makes sound business sense IMHO.

I'm not surprised. Whenever I am on the road, I find myself surrounded by trucks. You can call them crossovers, SUVs, whatever. I call them trucks. Same when I park at the shopping center. Exiting the parking space is a challenge inasmuch as my vision is impaired by trucks parked all around me. Personally, I don't want a truck or anything the size of a truck. Keeping the Mustang also is no surprise. They're still popular (though heaven only knows why). I went shopping for my first new car in the year that the Mustang went into production. I drove one about one block and made a uturn to return it to the dealer. Didn't think much of it then and never did with subsequent iterations.

I do have a truck but it is used as a truck. Usually daily, hauling wood etc. I have a friend that I asked why he bought a truck. If he needs something hauled be calls me, go figure ! When I was stationed in DC area I drove my Subaru Forrester. CPT Jack Durish

Roger that, trucks and SUVs are probably 2/3 of what I see on interstate. The rest are a mix of high dollar rides, aged sedans, or beaters.
