Think about it though - this is what they're reporting. Imagine what's not getting reported - because they did misreport the first surge.
It's just extremely frustrating to see people be so cavalier about this and not care. Yeah the same people who say "I'd TaKe A bUlLeT fOr My CoUntRy!" But refuse to get a vaccine...

Kelly, our Governor in Florida, one of the worst states for recent outbreaks (20% of all cases nationwide), signed an executive order which would defund schools who mandate masks in schools. I don't usually say this kind of thing, but he is a political ass.

Chip, I went to my cardiologist today, and he was telling me that our hospitals in Volusia County, Florida were filling up. He said that at Halifax Hospital 97% of the COVID patients hospitalized were unvaccinated. At Advent Hospital where my appointment was, 94% of the COVID patients were unvaccinated. He was very concerned about my health and told me to continue to social distance and wear a mask even though I have been vaccinated. He also said he could not understand why more people are not getting vaccinated.

Sounds like your numbers in hospitals are a bit higher than ours in Tampa Bay area but the percentages of unvaccinated are just about the same. Wife has doctors appointment next Tuesday and expect she'll be told the same.
