I find it very odd that people think he was justified in shooting that guy. From what I've read, the victim's partner parked in a handicap spot. Illegal without a placard - yes. However, he has apparently had a history of harassing people who park there. He went out and harassed this woman. The guy came out, saw him harassing his girlfriend (or whatever) and he defended her. So yeah he shoved him - that should result in death? Also I wasn't aware illegally parking in a handicap spot carried a death sentence.

Also these Stand Your Ground laws are such junk. If you just "feel" threatened you can kill someone? That's ridiculous.

What the shooter should have done was called the police after she didn't move her car. That's what I would do if I worked somewhere or saw someone illegally park in a handicap spot. I'm not the parking enforcer. Nor was he. Let the cops handle it. Their job is to enforce the law not random dude who gets on people for a parking spot. Ultimately that's all this was over - a parking spot.

Looks like this is not the first time for Michael Drejka having words with people.

I think the Sheriff will take another look at this.

Watching more of the video, it appears Drejka provoked the incident. He stood haranguing the woman for some minutes before McGlockton came out. McGlockton should not have pushed him, but to die for it? Perhaps Drejka should have minded his own business.

Sad state of affairs.
