It was a programming issue with the website, not a misogynistic crusade against women.
" By Friday, she’d gotten in touch with the chief marketing officer of Fabletics, who told her that the discrepancy had been caused by a communications error. While Fabletics offered a 15 percent discount in-store to male and female veterans, that policy had not yet been translated online"

In 2020 it’s a shame that you must “look” like a vet to be believed you are one. A few weeks ago I was boarding my flight, (normally I don’t board when they call military service members, but as I was in a window seat and didn’t want to bother others in the same row I decided to board) when I went to hand them my ticket I was greated with a “this is for service members only”. I told them I was one and had my CAC in hand. I was then asked “are you sure?”
...... no I’m not sure, I just have a CAC and decided I’d play G.I. Jane for the day.... smh.
I just smiled, showed them my ID and wished them a blessed day.

Kids get discounts, seniors get discount, women get discounts. Are men the only group that should never get discounts? Anyway, I doubt this ad had anything meant to being discriminatory; rather, it was just a strategy to address the different buying habits of men as compared to women.
Nevertheless, it might be mindful for any women that are poised to complain to keep in mind that they still get more lavish, spacious and convenient accommodation in every aspect of life when compared to men. In addition, women get virtually universal preferential treatment as a matter of culture and tradition.
Thing is, I've never heard a single women protest any of these female only advantages. Have you? With this in mind, I see nothing in this isolated and relatively insignificant event that would necessitate an apology. Although the promo probably could have been advertised differently.
