I hope they catch and bring the criminal to justice. As much as I disagree with Mr Soros, I will also defend his rights to life and liberty.

What will not be surprising is I bet you do catch the person that did it and that person is brought before the world for all to see. This person will be vilified by the media and the public but not one person that Soros' organizations has funded for rioting, destruction of property, and breaking numerous laws will ever receive will be treated that way.

I think this is wrong and I hope they catch the person that did it and hold them to the fullest extent of the law. HOWEVER, I disagree with your comment about not being surprised. He has fueled hate and discourse and riots all over the US and the world. Not right to come back at him because two wrongs don't make it right but I am not surprised.

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth - Fair enough. I just kind of think that the latest one is the one you really fall under.

Also, I think it's an interesting question as to WHY they are different. I don't think it's an oversight that the Officer Oath is different.

I don't know...good question. I thinkthe enlisted oath was ther to leave no room for whos orders you will obey. However, I think as officers we are to obey those above us as orders are handed down. We don't question unless it is illegal or unethical to carry out those orders and as the President of the United States he is the the CINC and by default we carry out those orders directed down from him or her in the future maybe.

This was agood explanation..the officers oath is that way sothat wa don't swear allegiance to an individual but to an ideal etc...read the article it is a good run down IMHO.

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth - Yeah, that's pretty much exactly how I feel about it. Officers don't swear to a person, or even an office, but only to the Constitution. THAT's how I read my oath (even though I did, originally, also take the Enlisted oath back in the day - I feel that one is subsumed by the Commissioned Oath).

Not surprising since he's known for the destruction of our Republic. His organizations have helped fuel riots in this country and he funds candidates that believe in Socialism (Andrew Gillum and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez immediately come to mind). He's also set aside well over $500M (according to Forebes.com) to help with refugee migration to this country and Europe. He also helped form Media Matters for America which was also co-founded by Hillary Clinton. He has his tentacles into everything.

CW3 Michael Bodnar - I don't disagree with that, but their are some people that will push to to full extreme. As for the media, I HAVE NO COMMENTS.

A lot of accusations against George Soros, but damned little evidence.
Regardless, NO ONE should condone or excuse this attack!

PO2 Robert Aitchison - You believe it to be nonsense but I can assure you, this man has set out to destroy our country. Need proof? Take a look for yourself what some of his interests are:

Need more proof, take a look at the Open Society Institute and see where their influence and money go - ACORN, National Council of La Raza, and Moveon.org just to name a few. Richard Poe writes, “Through his global web of Open Society Institutes and Open Society Foundations, Soros has spent 25 years recruiting, training, indoctrinating and installing a network of loyal operatives in 50 countries, placing them in positions of influence and power in media, government, finance and academia.” Notice the words train and indoctrinate. How about the Center for American Progress that was headed up by one John Podesta (that name should ring a bell). This organization was created by funding from George Soros to stop President Bush from being re-elected in 2004 which didn't work. So you say baseless claims - I say you're incorrect. Do your research and see what this man is about and not take what the media is putting out there.

SPC Kevin Ford - I don't trust snopes as far as I can throw them. They've proven unreliable in the past by numerous organizations.
