Some media sources never tried to investigate this story, because it would interfere with the agenda they are trying to push.

IMO, the whole process was a complete failure of the US public health services and the WHO. Then as we learned more about the virus, they didn't admit to a mistake, they doubled down on it. The original lockdown was in response to the Ferguson model, which was immediately condemned as wrong, but we make decisions that had long term effects from that model. When within a couple months it was obvious that the model was as wrong as the critics claimed, they did not change the strategy at all (I work in the world of computer models, making real world decisions for complex predictive models that are ALWAYS wrong is moronic. The fact that so many young scientists don't understand that models are not reality). Then there the on going masking fiasco, the insistence that lockdown and masking was working while rates spiked, the whole Nursing Home thing, the complete resistance for using repurposed drugs by the FDA that now seemed to have turned the tide in India and other Developing Nations.
Then following the advice of the Chinese Communist Party is still beyond me. The slightly humorous part of this is the fact that two "Fake" news sites broke these stories months ago, Epoch Times and Zerohedge.
