Being the kid of a plywood mill shift supervisor, I watched the environmentalists kill logging in Oregon. We all knew they were lying about the Spotted Owl and it's habitat, but logging went the way of the dodo. I remember the bumper sticker 'Save logging, eat an owl' The greenies killed off an industry with renewable resources and didn't care. Now they want the owl. Fuck that. Save the Spotted Owl!
