Mmmmmm. These sound tasty, I would never say. A step up from C-Rations, which I liked, to more tasty food snacks, that probably aren't good for you, but taste better.
Say goodbye to pork rib and wheat snack bread, and hello to bagels and burrito bowl MREs.
In the field, the act of picking over a box Meals Ready-to-Eat is a ritual of sorts. Called rat-fucking — nobody knows why — troops raid unguarded boxes of MREs, ripping open individual meals and pilfering Skittles, buffalo chicken, and jalapeno cheese spread.

I normally took what was handed to me, when I got in to supply, I was given my own personal box of MRE's by the supply sergeant(my boss). Funny how two full boxes made it home for my son to snack on.
