I just watched with my kids this cool Sci-Fi Time-travel movie from the 80s' The Final Countdown'. Can you see it in your area on youtube ?
I like this movie better than TOPGUN. Some of you have told me the U.S. Navy went all out with supporting this movie with the Carrier, crew and its aviation assets. I noticed its free on youtube. I actually liked the German Subtitles. It was high resolution and excellent on my 52 inch tv.

The US Navy and its carrier without the battlegroup was awesome too. Seeing Martin Sheen not chained protesting Pershing Missles was great too. I like Kirk Douglas.

Yes, the Navy threw down big in support of this movie. It is a good sci-fi movie. Interesting side note, the Tomcats had to fly so slow around the Zeros that one of them was almost lost to a flat spin.
