It’s a very pretty country and the people are friendly. But Copenhagen, the nation’s capital, is a very expensive city to visit, if only for a short time. If you do visit, be sure to travel to Rothskilde, a small town well outside the capital. It’s the location of the Viking Ship Museum, where unearthed Viking ships are being restored to appear and function as they did 1200 years ago. Be sure to visit the museum’s gift shop where you’ll find miniature ships in pewter and perhaps silve and gold Viking crosses, made in the pattern of the cross that was carved in the granite face of a fjord, to mark the appearance of Christianity when it first appeared in the country over one thousand years ago. I had such a cross in 18ct gold that I gave the missus in lieu of an engagement ring in Germany in 1975.

Been to DK many a time and yes it is *very* expensive. Agreed —> the museum = worth the trek.

Denmark is a little over 1000 miles away from Ukraine, so I don't see the value in putting our troops there... That said, there must be a tactical advantage or it wouldn't make sense, Lt Col Charlie Brown! Just saying...
