It's the President's prerogative to surround himself with people he trusts and he is grooming his daughter for success. Personally, it does border into the gray area and could be construed as nepotism by his detractors... but then again, I don't recall them whining about Michelle Obama's mother being on the government payroll! I don't think Trump really cares what they think as they would be against anyone he picked anyway... save perhaps for a leaker, like Comey.

I really don't see any complaining about Chelsea Clinton presuming the first lady's responsibilities had her mother won, of all the things to attack Trump on this one is a long stretch.
