As a little Catholic Kid, this was a something we all had to study. Theology splitting hairs. As little Irish Ancestry inner city kids, we were all Altar Boys, not out of any strong Faith or Calling, but because our Mom's said we had too. Plus, you felt holy. LOL

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - My childhood church in Cleveland: ST. Michael's was built by the Germans in 1878, but all the Irish Immigrants moved in...so we kinda took it over. LOL That's okay because the Germans also built St. John's Cathedral (1852 - I think) which is the seat of the Bishop and Diocese of Cleveland- so they just went back to their "old" bigger and better church. LOL
