Could Trump actually get rid of the Department of Education?

This is from Vox. And, as is typical of the Liberal pundits it's full of doom and gloom scenarios about the shuttering of the DoE. It's been in place for 45 years now. Those of us 60+ years old have a birds eye view of how the country has changed in that 45 years. We call it the Dept. of Education, other Countries would call it the Secretariat or Ministry of Propaganda. It was instituted under the leadership of the worst President(until Joe came along) our nation had ever known. There has been a reawakening of conservative ideas and values in the past decade. We don't need a Government office of Propaganda, we need Civics education to be reinstated in our schools. The power of the teachers unions needs to quashed also. Technical skills training should be introduced as an alternative career path during the High School years, not everyone is college material. So, I say go for it Mr. President
