COL Ted Mc
Capt Walter Miller - Captain; You know that it isn't polite to call insurance company executives "sheep".
If you look at the figures you will probably find that the premiums that the insurance companies receive just barely cover the cost of administration and the medical care that they pay for (plus, of course, maintaining the necessary reserves to cover unexpected contingencies).
[If you look closer, you will find that the insurance companies do NOT include the amount that they receive from investment income in their calculations which show that they aren't making a lot of money.

Capt Walter Miller - Captain; I wouldn't go so far as to say "real debate" but I would certainly agree that the Democrat's TV programs have tended to contain more "substance" than the Republican's TV programs.
Of course, if you completely, instinctively, and knee-jerkingly dismiss the Democrats' points from any serious consideration then you don't have to bother to think about what they are saying and can concentrate on how big the "hands" of your own candidates are.
(I do have to admit that the reference flew by me the first time it was made.)

So they held a debate in Flint, promising change, in a town run by democrats that promised change, yet nothing has changed in 20 years? This is a definition of insanity....

Capt Walter Miller
Flint is not run by Democrats. It is run by the Governor of Michigan.
Where do you get your news? FOX or the sewer?
"Flint has been under state oversight since 2011, when Snyder appointed the first of four emergency managers to run the city. The last emergency manager left in April 2015.
But this week, after meeting with Flint Mayor Karen Weaver about the city’s drinking water crisis, Snyder suggested it’s time to move closer to local control."
