I would hope our currently serving troops have a better holiday than this but I am sure they were grateful for whatever arrived at the time.

SGT John " Mac " McConnell especially when it was the Turkey Holiday meal with all the trimmings! All three years at Thanksgiving my Artillery unit was always at Hohenfels or Graff enroute. Cold all around then hot chow! Like you said a great morale boost!
