The Canadian Army Reserve is gutted by the active component and is in shambles. Isn't this sad and crazy?
The Canadian Army Reserve was cut by 5,000. They have no radios now since the active component took them away.The new ones come in 2017. Their vehicles are mostly unserviceable and they have too few mechanics. I hope this never happens here stateside. This is not the first time it has happened.

I am confident that we will have the same issues, just elect Hilliary and we will be right there with them.
During the Clinton administration when I was a Reserve commander I took over a unit that had not weapon qualified for six years due to no weapons and no money. I got them qualified the last year after being rejected two years in a row. Nine months later the same unit was in Afghanistan.

Most cruel is that the reserves are being deliberately starved and the culprit starving them is, as usual, the bureaucracy of the regular (or full-time) army itself
