Thanks for sharing. It does my heart good to see that some places still go that extra step to recognize MIA's.

In fact, I went to races with my Dad sometimes while I was home on leave (mostly Eldora). Once or twice they would ask if there were any active duty in the audience and I'd stand up. I'm not so sure that was a good idea, because I got more free beer than I could (almost) drink! :)

I have helped the WoO but not sure if I am going to work for the 410 sprints and Tony Stewarts, Outlaw Sprints. PO1 John Miller

WoO is definitely my favorite series. I have seen the California Lightning Sprints and they were okay, but not as fast as the Outlaws!
Sometime this summer, I'm actually going to Eldora to scatter my Dad's ashes (he passed away last year) over turn 4.

CPT L S - I counted on my TSCO and everything we worked on together went down famously, El Dorado Canyon/Prairie Fire/Achile Lauro. The One Time I had to leave him out of the Loop due to the Sensitivity didn't turn out so good, It was called Iran-Contra.

CPT L S - As have I...I even had two male gay room mates while active duty and stationed at Wilford Hall...and they were both Active duty too.

CPT L S - I don't care either way. This whole thing started because someone at chick filet a made a comment about GAY MARRIAGES. I have had a lot of gay friends...I have gone to gay bars....and had two gay room mates....BUT THIS POST IS NOT ABOUT GAYS...It's about Honoring the missing in action. There is NO reason or room for you to bring up the past from 4 years ago...it has NOTHING to do with this post.
If you want to post something about CHICK FILET A and what happened 4 years ago back in 2012, please post it...and I would be more than happy to discuss that event and situation in that POST.

A great post, Sgt Kelli Mays !! It's nice to know that our brothers and sisters are not forgotten. In this world, it seems that we sometimes move so fast that many people run right by the things that allowed them the freedoms that they enjoy. I am glad that the Chick-Fil-A company is inviting people to slow down, and appreciate Military sacrifice for a moment.
