Case Against Marine Colonel Alleges Multiple Underage Victims

Wow. It looks like this guy will get to spend many, many years in prison. It is hard to believe a Marine Corps Colonel could do something like this.

Nothing surprises me anymore especially in the military. Just look through when the Army Times releases court martial results.

2016 what was published showed this: So I just focused on sex crimes to put something together for future SHARP training.
The majority of sex crimes in general are being perpetrated by junior enlisted to NCOs. There were seven officers. Four of the officers were CPT or MAJ. One LTC, one COL and a 1LT. Otherwise quite a lot were junior enlisted or mid-tier NCOs. 9 SFC. 2 MSG.

Out of those sex crimes here's percentages of sex crimes that involved minors
PVT - 26%
PFC - 50%
SPC - 68%
SGT - 53%
SSG - 36%
SFC - 67%
MSG - 50%
MAJ - 50%
LTC - 100%
COL - 100%

It's not complete because a few months were not posted. It was all blank. The majority of the charges were regarding child pornography - distribution and/or possession. Other charges involving minors were aggravated sexual contact, committing lewd acts, sexual assault, forcible sodomy; sexual abuse.

After I was a SARC for over 2 years and some of the cases I heard about - these cases in the article don't surprise me anymore. It is disturbing that we have so many sexual predators in our military - especially toward children.

We had a guy in my last unit - SSG. Got arrested after the state investigated him for a month for child porn. They found MORE in his house when they arrested him and searched. The case took about a year. He got convicted of several charges including child porn and sexual assault of a minor. The victim - his eight year old daughter. And the news article said that in a letter from jail he wrote someone that his daughter "seduced" him. An eight year old...people like that don't deserve anything more than a lifetime of pain and torture in my opinion.

This is severely twisted, he'll be lucky if he doesn't get life.
