Sucks... going on strike during the holiday season... I recall way back (during the early 60s) when Van Evans Plywood in Missoula, Montana went on strike. Two of my uncles worked there and always claimed the company paid guys to strike. They eliminated Holiday Bonuses/overtime and saved money by not making plywood when there was a glut of the product on the market... Bottom line: They went on strike, got a meager raise after the holidays were over, and never made up the money they would have earned if there were no strike...

I've never used USPS for packages period. UPS has been my shipper since my college days. I will take that statement back a bit, had no choice but to use USPS to ship packages back from Thailand and Turkey when I was stationed there, but I always insured them for double the value of the contents.

Good evening LTC (Join to see). Excellent post. Thank you for sharing this Sir. I stopped using USPS to send out packages. I've been using UPS instead.
