I would not recommend a BA degree. An AA/AS degree would suffice as long as cultural, sociological, psychological disciplines were stressed.

I would argue that 4 years in the "real world" matures one much more than 4 years of frat houses and "Cs get degrees" does. To be fair, not all graduates fit that mold, but *some* do, and placing a higher priority on the education than the maturity is the wrong direction, in my book.

Absolutely raise the minimum age, but not higher than the age at which a normal, traditional college student would be eligible.

I don't know about having to have a degree since that doesn't really measure much - but waiting until 25 doesn't seem like a bad idea. We should probably increase the age of enlistment from 18 too.
