It must have been challenging to go through kindergarten and elementary school with a name like Buford T. Justice SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. I can imagine him singing "poor, poor, pitiful me" for much of his childhood until he found his true calling - corrupt bureaucrat sheriff.
