It is so French to act so blasé on this day ! No Big Deal ! I am scratching my head at this point and asking myself , Why ? Must be a French thing... Anyway you can be .......
BLASE’ DAY :
Blase’ Day is observed annually on November 25.
On Blase’ Day, we have permission to be blase’ toward just about anything.
Of French origin meaning to be indifferent or bored with life, unimpressed, as or as if from an excess of worldly pleasures.
Unimpressed by pumpkin spice everything? It’s okay to be blase’ about it today. Heard the same pop song for the 4th time today? Be blase’. Nothing on TV tonight? Just be blase’. Bored by your friend’s team winning their 266th game in a row? Yep, you got it. Whether it’s that 20 page Christmas letter, your mom’s constant picture taking or the fifth night of leftover pizza, you can be blase’.

Good afternoon, my friend SGT John " Mac " McConnell and thank you for introducing to to the ignoble idea of Blase’ Day - to be honest I am non-committal and ambivalent about this whole idea. :-)
This reminds me of my days as a Fitstie USMA cadet in the late 1979. I played a role of Vladimir Roachevsky - Russian exchange student to West Point - as a groups of us visited the local girls colleges. I drank vodka and acted as disoriented Russian with little understanding of English.
Plenty of 'да' [ "I agree with what you say, you are right"] 'нет' ["I disagree with what you say, you are wrong"], Очень хорошо [ochen horosho] [it is fine] превосходный [prevoskhodnyy, mena sexcellent] спасиба [spaceba, thank you], у меня вопрос [u menya vopros, menas I have a question.
Since this was during the Cold War, the whole idea of a Russian exchange student was ludicrous.
