This article is spot on. The past presidentcies have all taking the position that the world wants American style governance. Nation building is not, and should not be, the goal. Protecting our way of life, defending ourselves from outside influence, securing our Constitution, and allowing citizens of this nation to prosper are what the presidency is supposed to entail. This debacle has, I fear, done a lot more damage than Pearl Harbor ever did. And without a collective will to correct it we will suffer as a nation.
