My prediction is General Brown will be seen as a success by progressives. He is a failure as a leader already. He identifies service personnel by the color of their skin and treats them differently according to those skin tones. We should be recruiting the best pilots period. Not the best pilots by skin color. We should be recruiting all personnel the same way. Instead we'll have quotas by race to fill positions and some we'll qualifiedpeople will likely be turned away.
Of course, the JCS won't be blamed for recruiting failures, or failures of units if we go to combat. But his policies, which are that of the Secretary of Defense and the President will, and probably are, dooming our military before we even land in hostile territory or launch a round down range.
He'll we have a naval ship, the USS Zumwalt, DDG 1000, which has never fired its 'advanced gun system' ever...

PO3 Edward Riddle The rounds cost between $800k and $1 million per round. The Navy bought zero rounds due to the cost. There were 32 planned ships and three built. Only two are in service. The gun systems are being replaced with hypersonic missiles starting this year.
