I hope so. As Americans we can do just about anything we want, until it starts interfering with other folks doing what they want, that's the line that was drawn when the constitution was ratified. You can even be offended by other folks spoken words and engage in reasoned debate, if that's what you want. It's when you get in to combative arguing that you close the minds of others. We're a Nation that thrives on the Free Expression of Differing Ideas. It is the only way to arrive at a reasoned consensus. If you have a point of view that no one wants to hear, maybe you should reconsider how you're presenting it, or after logical thought on the ramifications of the idea, just decide to drop it and get on with your life. Being angry all the time is bad for your health.
