A woman was charged with criminal trespass and resisting arrest after she refused to wear a mask inside a Galveston bank Thursday.
The manager of the Bank of America on Central City Boulevard called police.
A Galveston officer arrived and asked Terry Lynn Wright to leave the bank, but she refused.
His bodycam recorded the confrontation as it escalated.

The fact the woman could not at least respect it she could have just done it. Leave.

Except that's not what happened and I feel sure you know that.
She was charged with trespass because she refused to leave when told to do so. Walk in with an obscene message on get told to leave, don't, get trespassed. Walk in to a restaurant with no shirt and no shoes, get told to leave, don't, get trespassed. Sign outside bank says no mask, no service, walk in anyway without a mask, get told to leave, get trespassed. Its really not hard to understand for a rational adult. Dont like the policies of the local business, choose another business to use.

SSgt (Join to see) - How is it a stupid warrant? She was told to leave, she refused, she was trespassing. So hence the warrant.
