How come it didn't "finally start" when the white guy in Portland stabbed and killed two people while declaring himself a patriot for harassing Muslim Americans? Does it not count as starting if the hate speech only causes right wingers to attack and kill minorities or liberals? Only if a conservative is attacked does it count? And the leader of the brietbart hate website is the fucking senior strategist to Trump. Yet NOW is the time it "finally started" and it's because of the hate speech from the left?

LTC (Join to see) Hate Speech? It was a shooting and attempted shooting of elected officials in the federal government in the Washington, DC area. Though I would agree that it is an escalation of acts no matter what side of the issues anyone is on, however, please tell me what political office holder has been directly attacked in a deadly manner in any of the recent incidents that you are referencing or alluding to. SSgt Christopher Brose your invited to chime in on this particular question, also.

SSG Robert Webster - since when does the life of a congressman take such priority over American citizens getting attacked and killed simply because they aren't white or Christian or straight? As for a comparable example, check out this tweet from Rep Gifford and the responses she got back. It's an example of the right wing hate speech just from today. Where do you think that one poster gets his false flag attack suspicions from? Possibly from Alex Jones and info wars, an antigovernment extremist site that Trump appeared on for an interview, praised Jones for his great work, and now has given that site WH press credentials.

LTC (Join to see) - Screw Alex Jones and his ilk. Anyway, it would and is poor taste to use 'Gaby' Giffords and a bad example. To turn that argument back, shouldn't the Navy ship named after Giffords be named after one of those American citizens killed in response of a political cause - the ship was named after her only because she was a political figure; name the ship using the standard naming conventions and picked another name and dedicate it to her. (But let's not get into that discussion any further.)
Another thing to point out with the Gifford incident - Her assailant was not a right-wing nut job, he was a left-wing nut job. Key word - nut. Interesting that he was a registered Independent and had left wing, liberal, and radical ideals. Sounds a lot like a Bernie Sanders adherent.
But sadly enough the responses to Ms. Giffords is a big indicator as to the divide that the left is very intent on exploiting to their advantage to everyone else's disadvantage.

Fox is reporting that a man asked if republicans or democrats were on the field minutes before he disappeared and the shooting started.

Zeski, are you implying that the cops only shoot people of color that open fire on innocent people? I would say the cops should open fire on anyone who is attacking innocent people no matter what their color. If they happen to die in the encounter it just saves the public the costs of trial and incarceration expenses.

Lots of blood came out of the shooter. Were you expecting something different?

We need to wait for complete reports before judging the shooter, his motivations, or his level of sanity; religious or political affiliation may matter.

On related issues:
-Was this a gun-free zone? If it wasn't, why weren't any of the "Staffers" armed?
-This was a soft and attractive target. Who thought it would be okay to leave it unprotected except for two WDC officers?
-Why didn't the local police or sheriff's departments simply place one police car with officer in the parking lot near ball fields. Would have brought more firepower to the good guys plus rapid communication.
-Was the level of protection at the Democrat practice the same, less, or more?

Lt Col Jim Coe Now that the shooter has been tentatively identified, are you going to wait until he is positively identified by authorities? I think that since they have raided his house/residence that you should be able to speak about his sanity and his political affiliation at this point in time. Please state the rest of your thoughts.
