Sorry my phone did an auto correct it's CW5 Leon Cardona not Carson. Sorry about that and yes Wheeler AAF is right across from Schofield Barracks.

25th CAB was on Wheeler AFB, right opposite the Schofield Barracks, on the SW side. This base has a history equal to those of Schofield and Pearl, as well as the Marine Air Station at Kaneohe.
CW5 Carson; you have done yourself, your family and the nation proud. You will be missed. However, you are leaving behind islands filled with historical significance, strategic settings and an extremely important gateway to the East or the West, depends on how you look at it, where, perhaps, a WWIII may erupt, like the ever-spewing volcano on the Big Island. Take Care!
