Some just don't get it... Had a Supply Officer that was so excited to see what they had gotten for the wardroom... an Cappuccino machine! Since I was the DCA, and had to approve all ship installs, SUPPO came to me 1st. Of course, my 1st question was "is there one in the enlisted mess", and my 2nd was "Does the CO or XO know"? The answer to both was no... neither the CO or XO wanted it but since it was ridiculously expensive, I was told to figure out how to get it wired for power and water. We had it for about a week, before the ragging from the other ships on the waterfront got too bad, the XO told me to drop it over the side next time we were at sea. Apparently, one of the other XO's had a bunch of cappuccino stickers put all over his car, which was the last straw...

Hugs, Twister and Margarita's, sounds like the millennial Division Commander to me. How does this go on in a unit full of officers and staff NCO's?

I guess he slept through the senior officer "charm school" where they address stuff like this.
