Trump to Call for Higher Taxes on the Wealthy

Anything that simplifies the tax code has got to be better than it is now.......

It's decidedly un-republican (sort of) but I think it's a nice change to not have the spouted, "we're somehow going to cut taxes for everyone but still balance the budget"

Contrary to all of the BS floating around "the poor" don't pay taxes. Thanks to the so-called "earned income credit" many actually make a rather large profit from our current tax system. You can't cut taxes for people who already pay nothing. Many of the middle class also don't pay much. The ones that do get hit are people like me who no longer have any dependents and have no deductions and I am quite sure that no one plans on giving me a tax break. My personal choice would be to eliminate ALL tax deductions and tax credits and institute a flat tax rate for everyone. That way everyone would pay their share and the rich would still be paying the most.
