Former Israeli defense minister accuses country of war crimes and ethnic cleansing in Gaza

I agree with him. Pictures of devastation in Gaza tells me that the Israelis were systematically destroying buildings in order to completely level whole town blocks. In WWII much of the destruction of cities was conducted by bombers which decimated whole blocks. The Israelis were more purposeful with targeting buildings to achieve that with direct weapons systems.
