I worked for General O (then LTG O) during the surge, and he is great American, and has been great for our Army, in a tough world and difficult administration. It is hard to believe, if you think about it, we have been at war for close to 14 years... I remember, pre-911, when Vietnam was the long war... and this one is far from over.
